Wear More Sparkle
Who doesn't love a little glitter? I personally think we should make sequined and sparkle clothing less of a special occasion look and more of an everyday thing! Besides, more sparkle means more confidence!
Try A Trend That You're Afraid Of
Of course, there's no point in trying a trend that you dislike, but trying something you're afraid to wear can bring a new wave of confidence. It can also make your wardrobe more versatile. I tried the choker trend in 2016, and I ended up really liking it! You can check out my DIY for one here.
Dress Up More
Ever since I've started posting daily on my Instagram, I've made sure that all my outfits were worthy to be posted. It's made me make more use of all the items in my closet and made all my looks more put together. Plus, it's fun to look your best!
Wear What Makes You Happy
Above all, it's important to love the way you dress and feel confident in your clothes. When I first purchased my overalls, I was a little scared to wear them because I didn't know what people would think. They were pretty bold and I hadn't yet seen anyone wearing them. But I decided to finally gain enough strength to wear them and I'm so glad I did because I think they make some of my cutest outfits!
Wear Bolder Patterns
I, for one, love an all black look. It's chic, easy to put together, and can't look bad. But sometimes the same look can get boring, and wearing bolder colors and patterns is an easy to breathe new life into your wardrobe. This KENZOxHM top, for example, is not something I would have normally worn, but I got more compliments than any of my more "chic" looks.
