Step 1. Choose the beads you would like to use for necklace and place them on the wire. Make sure that you have enough room on the end of the wire so that you can curve it to fit on the necklace chain.

Beaded Necklace Instructions

-Earring fish hooks, available here

-Small 1-2 inch pieces of wire, the ones available in these sets are easiest to work with

-Round nose pliers, like these here

-A chain for the necklace, any one from a broken piece of jewelry will work just as fine as a new one

-Various glass beads

Recently I was going through my craft drawer and noticed how many glass beads and pieces of broken jewelry I had lying around. Instead of worrying about fixing the jewelry, I decided to repurpose it into something artistic and fun. This jewelry is super easy and fun to make and takes less than 5 minutes. You will need some supplies other than beads, but they can all be picked up at a craft store, or even Walmart.

Beaded Earrings Instructions

Step 2. The wire pieces I purchased already had one end stopped with a curve, so if yours do not have that, you will need to curve one end with the jewelry pliers so that the beads don't fall off.

Step 3. Once all the beads are on the wire, curve the other end but do not close it. Making sure that the Necklace chain is centered, hook the wire onto the chain.

Step 4. Close the wire with the jewelry pliers and then, ta-da! The necklace is now finished!

Beaded Necklace and Earrings DIY

Simply follow the same instructions for the necklace, but hook the wires onto the fish hook earrings, and not a necklace chain.
